The designer has seven key requirements when going wireless

Ease of use is looked at from both a design perspective and an end-user perspective. If the PC HID designer spends months developing drivers for wireless products or is forced to use complicated tricks with antenna layout to bolster range, the development cycle is inevitably extended.
Likewise, from a consumer perspective, if several steps to installation are required for a wireless mouse, an end-user will likely become baffled resulting in the customer service phones ringing off the hook with confused callers.
